Introduction. The world knows N.N. Miklouho-Maclay (1846-1888) as a remarkable and fearless Russian traveler. He combined the skills of geographer, zoologist, anthropologist, anatomist, ethnographer, and artist. The scientific heritage of Nikolai Nikolaevich Miklouho-Maclay is huge, diverse and is of great importance for the development of many humanities and natural sciences. His artistic heritage is also huge, amazing and unique. His several hundred drawings have not yet been fully studied. Material and methods. The photo-illustrative department of the Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology of MSU keeps a collection of original and copied of N.N. Miklouho-Maclay’s drawings. The original drawings were transported to Moscow from the archive of the Russian Geographical Society when D.N. Anuchin compiled the first edition of N.N. Miklukho-Maclay’s works (1923). The copies were obtained to substitute the drawing transferred from Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology of MSU to Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera) RAS in 1937-1938 in connection with the preparation of commemorative events related to the 50th anniversary of the death of N.N. Mikloukho-Maclay. The total number of collection items: 35 originals and 24 copies. Results. Due to the fact that to this day scientific interest in the study of heritage N.N. Mikloukho-Maclay does not fade, and the collection of his drawings has not yet been systematized, our task was to digitize the drawings stored in the Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology. Photocopies of the drawings were made by A.A. Mukhin. On their basis, the database of images «Digitized collection of original and copied drawings of N.N. Miklouho-Maclay’s» was made. For each figure, a description was made, including the place of origin, the material used to create it, as well as the exact dimensions. Conclusion. Drawings made by N. N. Miklouho-Maclay with the skill and accuracy of an outstanding artist, together with the craniological and anthropometric material he collected, make up an important part of his scientific heritage. The electronic database created by us was a new, modern stage in the study of N. N. Miklouho-Maclay's drawings, allowed to use them not only for scientific but also educational purposes, made it possible to once again draw attention to the the necessity to create a joint catalog of all art materials of the great traveler, stored different institutions Russia and abroad.
