Abstract

The changes in the appearance of Udmurts occurred from 17th – 18th centuries until today were studied. Skulls series from two burials were reconstructed using the technique of craniofacial accordance. For each person the descriptive and anthropometric data were obtained. The comparison with modern Udmurt population was made. Obtained data allow to suggest that there is a cultural correlation between modern Udmurt population and ancient inhabitants of this territory.
