A chart to summarize growth of stature, sitting height and leg length in children and adolescents: Body Proportion Chart

Abstract

It is difficult to simultaneously visualize age changes in stature, sitting height and leg length on a single graph. A chart that includes scales for stature, sitting height, leg length and the lower segment-upper segment ratio (LUR) on a single graph is proposed – the Body Proportion Chart. The development and use of the chart is described.
